Is it possible to do this?

A few months back, I softmodded my friends Wii using SmashStack on 4.3U and installed HBC and BootMii successfully (even got boot2 to install correct) and recently, my parents had purchased the Wii off of my friend, and I accidentally deleted the HBC channel and lost the SD Card I'd backed everything up to, my question is: Is it possible to softmod the Wii again using SmashStack and another SD Card without potentially bricking the Wii? I've got all the tools needed, but I'm worried that the Wii will brick, I haven't formatted the system's memory at all.

EDIT: I went from an SD Card to an SDHC Card.. Will that matter?

Yes, you can re-softmod with any exploit compatible with your system menu. Your SDHC won't work with Smash Stack. SSBB can only read regular SD cards of 2GiB or less. Anyway, your best bet is to use the Softmod ANY Wii guide (link in my sig).

Alright, so I'd need to use Letterbox to mod my Wii using my SDHC then? Alright. I'm just looking to get some emulated games/modding/cheats for my Wii games, I've already edited files on Brawl when I modded my Wii back in the day, so I know how that's done and all. I'm on 4.3U, Letterbox and my SDHC will still work right?

EDIT: I've got a SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SDHC for reference.

That card might work, give it a try. If it doesn't, buy a 1-2GiB SanDisk standard (non-SDHC) SD card. Note that AFTER you mod the Wii the SDHC card should work with most things. And it's LetterBomb, not LetterBox...

Hmm.. Alright.. I'll just hold off from modding the Wii then. It's hard to find a 2 GB SD Card in my city, the minimal seems to be 4 GB, the only 2 GBs I can find are terrible brands no one's heard of. Alright then; thanks.

EDIT: I could always grab my friends 2 GB SD SanDisk packed with his 3DS.. I could just mod the Wii using SmashStack and then I can use my 8 GB SDHC card after to put the apps and whatever else on it, right?

Yes, pretty much all apps work with SDHC now.

Alright then, thanks. I'll mod my Wii using SmashStack with my friend's SanDisk 2GB SD, then I'll backup the NAND/boot2 like the tutorials suggest, then I'll just use my 8 GB SDHC to get emulations for my Wii. I can also use Gecko to import cheats into a game, correct?

    Cheating is not supported here.

When I meant cheats, I meant using Brawl to modify it into a more competitive game, it's not actually modifications to get the game free or affect online play. It just makes a lot of the characters moves remove or add invincibility frames/a fast paced fighter like melee on the GameCube.

That's not supported here either. See this thread.
