Error: No cIOS installed (Trying to run games on neogamma)

Sorry, I am new to modding my wii so I'm not entirely sure as to what I'm doing for this..

Anyways, I have used letterbomb on my wii and I got homebrew from that. I then installed neogamma onto my wii but whenever I try to run a game off of it, it tells me I have no cIOS installed. I have tried a few guides I found using google and was unable to figure out how to make this work. I have tried installed cIOS 249 I believe it was with YAWMM. When trying to install it with YAWMM, the screen looks like this.

    >>Select IOS version to use: <IOS249>
Press LEFT/RIGHT to change IOS version.

    Press a button to continue.
    Press HOME button to restart.

After pressing A my controller turns off and then back on and nothing happens, after pressing home it goes back to the homebrew channel.

    Other information:

-I have the cIOS 249 rev 8 wad for YAWMM to install like a guide i tried to follow said.
    -SD card is fat32
    -Ver 4.3U

Anyone have any ideas as to how I can make neogamma work? And sorry if I am missing any information, it is my first time posting here so I'm not entirely sure as to what information you need.

Oh and if you need any additional information please reply here and I shall try my best to post it. Thanks for your time.

    That was fast, thanks

Is there any specific spot I should start from because I already have homebrew channel? Or should I start from the top?

I had a problem when running xyzzy, It said a whole bunch of things and then shortly after (Changed while I was about to post here so I can't remember what it said..xD)
    Exception (program) occurred!
    GPR00 80001800 GPR08 00000000 GPR16 00000000 GPR24 00000000
    GPR01 800531D4 GPR09 80050000 GPR17 00000000 GPR25 00000000
...(More lines like that, theres GPR00 - GPR31)

    LR 8003F490 SRRO 80001800 SRR1 00080032 MSR 00000000
    DAR 00000000 DSISR 00000000

    80001800-->8003f490

Any ideas what happened? Oh and I checked the SD card after and the keys.txt nand.bin and key.bin weren't there. I'm guessing because of the weird error message it gave.

You said to follow your guide and your guide said..

Part 3- Make A NAND Backup (NOT Optional, do this,)Alternative to nand
backup, if you can't make one now

If you are unable to make a nand backup ATM, you can skip it if your wii is
online. You must run XYZZY from the HBC and extract your nand keys.
This does not work if the wii is not online.
Backup and format the sd card
    Extact MMM-xyzzy_CB2.zip to sd:\ -mirror
Load the HBC, press [HOME] launch bootmii
    MMM will load, Select wadmanager
Press 1, -Press A -install all wads -1 wad will install without error -Press any key
Press 2 - Load the App Manager, Launch XYZZY
Let it do its magic, then save sd:\keys.txt to a very safe place
Be sure to make a bootmii nand backup ASAP
But having the keys is good enough in a pinch
The Keys are needed for nand reprogramming of a fully bricked wii

After I ran the thing with the app manager it gave me that message. xD

Oh opps, I didn't notice it was an alternative xD sorry.:P I just saw the spoiler under it and assumed you meant that was the instructions.

    Edit: (Didnt feel like reposting)

Can you explain to me how to make the backup?x.x I tried pressing power power power reset reset like it tells me to but the first try that just turned my wii off, and the 2nd try my wii turned back on but I don't think it made a backup.D:
