Configurable USB

Hi,
I modded my wii and was using a Western Digital my passport drive to run my games from using configurable USB. I have been running from that with no issue for several months. I have recently bought a seagate FreeAgent GoFlex drive and I set it up the same as the western digital drive and coppied my files over to it. When I try to run the games from configurable USB it freezes when it say "Booting wii game, please wait". Can anyone help me with this issue? The hard drive works for all other games.

What exactly is the issue? You said that "When I try to run the games from configurable USB it freezes..." then at the end you said "The hard drive works for all other games.". I'm confused; is there a particular game that you're having trouble with, or all games?

Have you tried a different loader?
Have you tried Re-ripping the games?
Are both of the drives the same file format (NTFS/FAT32/WBFS)?
What did you use to copy the files from one drive to the other?

Sorry for the confusion. Configurable USB doesn't work but other homebrew games and applications run fine from the hard drive.

Cool. What version of CFG? Also, my other questions still remain legitimate. I know there seems to be a lot of issues when moving from one drive to another.

Ok I am using V70 and I have not tried a different loader. I have tried to rip a game but it freezes as well. Both drives are the same format FAT32. I used cut and paste to transfer the games over to the new hard drive.

Hi Dan. You may find that if you use wii game manager to transfer files it will give better results. Did you format new seagate drive or at least turn off the spin down program,
When I copy a drive, I format to fat32 Copy my apps etc: from old drive to root of new drive. Make a new WBFS folder. Plug into wii. try installing one or two discs. Make sure everything is going where you expect it to. Then move on.
