    Wii Remote help

    Hello,
I need to figure out a way to mod one of our two Wii remotes.
I have a young child that has birth defect with her right thumb. No worries, she calls it her "little thumb".
Anyway, she has started playing the Wii more which includes Mario Kart.
The 2 button is the gas and it's made for the right thumb to press. Mid way through a game her thumb really starts to hurt her.
Is there a way to change the remote so the gyro is flipped 180 degrees so the 2 button is on the left side?

    Thanks and Merry Christmas!!

I asked someone I know, and this was the only suggestion he could come up with:

I suggest trying a remote+nunchuck (nunchuck in right hand), since that wouldn't require as much pressure on the right thumb.

Thanks for the help. My time zone is -6, so I was just up a little later!
I'll try using Mario Kart with the chuck and see if that will work for her.

    Again, thanks for the help!
