    Disc error/cannot be read error....

I have a Wii console that has this error and cannot read the discs we have. I'm trying to figure out what is the best route here.
    Repair? Hack?

Thanks for being patient with a newb. Just need some advice.originals or backups? or do neither work?

Are you trying to play original discs or backups? What is the error code/message? If your playing backups, how are you loading them (what program and what version)?

Can you post a sysCheck please? What games are you trying to play? Do the disks work on other Wiis?

Ok. I can search sysCheck or you can just link me and it'll be a LOT faster. LOL!
All games play on our other Wii. Just not on this one. We have 20 games. Mario Sluggers, Mario Kart, etc.

I've never heard of the game This One. Is it good? And link to the sysCheck guide is in my sig ("How To Run & Post A System Check").

You say you hear it try to load disc...i presume it loads and ejects just fine...you need to confirm that it is actually spinining the disc. I had similair situation. I have to spin motor inbound...I would suggest you may look to replace whole drive and not a peice unless you know electronics and have experience with small ribbon cables...etc...
