    USB Loader GX Black Screen

Ok, Wii is softmodded. Using a 1TB Seagate STAC1000101

I used the WBFS Manager 3.0 to load an ISO onto the HDD

Can start up USB Loader GX and it sees games but when go to play them, the screen goes black. Am I missing an IOS?
I also tried to use Neogamma R8 to load it as well and still have the same problem.

I know there is a simple solution, but I can't seem to find it within any of the FAQs or within the Forum.

    Thanks

What guide did you follow to softmod?

What game is it? There are guides here for problematic games.

If you are not up to date, and the game is newer, you'll have to follow the Softmod Any Wii guide to get up to date.

WBFS is considered out of date. You should consider formatting to fat32 or ntfs. You can use an app like Wii backup manager for converting from iso to wbfs files to save space.

Finally you can use syscheckGX to analyze your system and post the results here. Warning though, if you are not up to date the first thing you will be told to do is follow the guide and get up to date.

Sorry, Forgot to include the guides I used.
    Softmod Any Wii Guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html
    USB Loader GX Guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...-settings.html
Loading and Playing Wii Backup Games from USB HDD (softmod only): http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tmod-only.html

PS. Game is variable, I've tried Glee V2 & V3, Lego Indiana Jones, Mario Kart. All downloaded to my USB HDD via the original disc just to check the functionality of the program. All get the same results from both Neogamma R8 and USB Loader GX. After I tell the programs to run the game, Black screen and that's all it does.

    Thanks

I just went through and redid my Softmod guide. Still no dice. Please help.

    Thanks

Have you tried forcing the video mode to match your console? Which IOS does loader gx pick to launch the game?

Yea, it's time for a syscheck. You can download syscheckgx via the homebrew browser. Once installed, run it and you'll get an output on the root of the sd card. Post it in a spoiler.
