Will "Format Wii System Memory" return the Wii back to it's out of box state

Meaning will it remove all modifications done to the Wii

    1. Remove Priloader
    2. Remove homebrew
    3. Remove modified IOS etc...

If not what is the best way to do this. Lets say you wanted to give your wii to a friend....

    1. No.
    2. No.
    3. No.

If I were giving a Wii to a friend, I would make sure the softmod was up to date and help him and/or point him here when he has questions.

http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...d-any-wii.html will do what you want, if for some reason you ever want to get rid of everything, follow THIS and do not do it yourself, and guess on what to do. Although the process isn't very safe, this is safer than you doing it on your own. Nintendo will never force you to take an update, and if you do a workaround would be made in like a week of this catastrophic event, oh wait there's already priiloader.

Once again, DO NOT MESS WITH THIS GUIDE, unless you REALLY have to.
Nintendo can also ALWAYS tell if you wii has been modified in the past.

Possibly. It could also brick your Wii. Why exactly do you want to remove the softmod?

I was just thinking there is a simple way of "starting all over again" In case you loaded old mods or made some mistake on your wii. It seems there is no easy "Format C:\" for the Wii then....
