It's not a flash drive. It's my external hard drive with all my games. I want my SD slot free....

The CFG Loader works great, I like it. I just wish I could load it from my hard drive instead of my SD card...

How are you trying to launch CFG Loader? Forwarder (from the System Menu), or through the Homebrew Channel? If you're using an old forwarder it's possible that it's not configured to launch usb, I have the one from the Softmod Any Wii guide and that does work (USBLoader(s)-ahbprot58-SD-USB-v11b-IDCL.wad). One of my hard drives doesn't show apps in HBC, yet the forwarder still works. It's also possible that your hard drive is just not going to work, usb compatibility seems to be quirky with some drives.

Something i just thought of, what format is your hard drive? I haven't had any success with ntfs, fat32 as the 1st partition (primary, active) is the only way i've run cfg loader from the HD.

BTW, I think the suggestion to use wiiflow is a valid one. Even if you don't want to use it, the fact that it works or not is additional information that may lead to your solution.

OK, I used the guide last night to re-do my Wii maybe I had my hard drive formatted incorrectly. I will look at it more tonight and post more questions if there are problems. It took me two days with USB loader GX so I ditched it. CFG Loader worked first time, so I feel like keeping it. It also does PAL Games as well.....
