    Help Modmii & Stuff!!

I used Modmii to softmod my 4.3 wii and it automatically downloaded "USB loader" channel (that's what it says on the channel) and when I click on it, it freezes on an image of a wii controller...but when I plugged in my usb (with a game on it and the COPY TO USB stuff from the Modmii program) it went to "cfg" and then it said the device was not responding...
I'm not sure if I should delete the usb loader channel and get a new one cause it might brick my wii
Do I need to have the sd card plugged in all the time?
How should the contents of the usb look?

There is no danger of bricking your Wii from this. If your USB loader app (the channel supports WiiFlow, CFG, and GX) is on the SD card, then yes it needs to be inserted. If it's on the USB HDD, then no it doesn't. The USB file structure should look like this:
    [CODE]USB:/WBFS/Game Name [GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs]/CODE]

That will vary slightly depending on the loader you use (the one above is from WiiFlow). Also, be sure your HDD on the compatibility list.

    Thanks!
Just wondering how I could check if the USB loader is on the sd card or USB? Because I want to only use the USB
Also, when I add my backup games from the computer, do I transfer it (using wii backup manager) as an iOS,cios or wbfs file to my fat32 hard drive?
And do external hard drive "enclosures" work for this too? I don't know the difference between a normal external hard drive and a external hard drive enclosure..
Thanks again! This website is so helpful!!

Also, when you say that the USB loader is cfg, gx and wiiflow, what does that mean? R they all in that same channel?

No you have achoice between the 3

Configurable Loader A.K.A = CFG Loader (USE THIS ONE)
    USBLoader GX
    Wiiflow

How do I check if the USB loader is on the sd card or USB? is it possible to only use the USB drive/hard drive?
When I transfer my games from the computer to my hard drive using the wii backup manager, do i transfer it as an IOS, CIOS, or wbfs file to my fat32 hard drive?
Are normal hard drives and hard drive enclosures the same thing?

Open up the HBC and press 1. If the device is set to SD, then the USB loader is on the SD card. If device is set to USB, then it's on the HDD. And yes, it is possible to run entirely from the USB HDD. Just put the USB loader of your choice (I recommend WiiFlow) USB:/apps/

You'll want to transfer the games as .wbfs since they are smaller than a .iso file.

A hard drive enclosure is a case made for you to put a hard drive (i.e. an internal drive from an old computer) into and use like a normal external HDD.
