Out of curiosity, why didn't you just convert them to the .wbfs format? With Wii backup manager I transfered all my games from a wbfs formatted drive to a ntfs formatted drive but still kept the games as a .wbfs and not iso.

As the last thread I've asked. I don't know if wbfs will work on NTFS that's why I use wii backup manager to convert to iso and transfer over to new drive same time. Maybe tonite when I got home I will convert to wbfs format and transfer them again. I dont really feel comfortable when look at all the iso file show 4.37gb even though it only 1gb file.

Yeah, that's the thing...The ISO files are way to big for their own good. But I haven't had any problems with my games being as .wbfs.

As long as your drive is formatted to ntfs Windows will recognize the wii games with the .wbfs extension. The only downside is that IF (a BIG IF) you want to burn a game to dvd you'll have to convert it to iso.

One thing I am not really sure cuz friend of mine do the softmod for me, he used the sd card to bootup and plau .wbfs in wbfs format drive. Now I convert to ISO and transfer to NTFS, I do't know if the sd card need to modify something else in order to play iso file or wbfs file in NTFS format drive.

You simply need a USB loader app that supports NTFS filesystems and .wbfs games (most modern USB loaders do, I recommend WiiFlow). You don't need any other special files.

Put on SD card in apps folder. HomebrewChannel does not support loading apps from NTFS USB drive.

Ok I need some help here. I finishing transfer games from WBFS drive to NTFS drive. have the GX loader in but when I select games to play it get error. The SD card was done based on the WBFS drive. If I use the old drive (WBFS) then I can pick and play game no problem. if i switch to NFTS drive then I got error.
Again the softmod was done from friend of mine. Now I took over but I am really newbie on this so please bear with me. Will be some stupid questions were asked from me
