Restoring NAND with bootmii as IOS

Hi guys, I was hoping someone with a bit more experience than I can help me out..

A long time ago I followed the following tutorial to hack my 4.1E Wii:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/tutorial-archives/16970-new-3-1-4-1-softmod-any-wii.html

    O
verall it has worked pretty well, but I do get the odd compatibility issues with games, and black screens, etc.

When I originally did the hack I had to install Bootmii as an IOS, and I did make a backup of my original NAND before hacking.

Now.. I'd like to 'redo' the wii hack, using Mauifrogs tutorial. My first thought was to just restore the backup of my NAND that I originally made, but after reading around forums it appears that this is not possible and could possibly brick my wii.

My question is, is it possible for me to restore my wii to it's original state before it was hacked (using my backup) and use Mauifrogs tutorial to hack it again?

If not, what are my options in regards to removing the hack I used, and using Mauifrogs tutorial?

Appreciate any assistance you guys can give!

No need to restore your Nand.
Just follow maui's guide, and that
    will overwrite your existing softmod.

Thanks bmarlo, I'll do that. May I ask, do I need to follow section one which is installing HBC and boot mii as I already have these installed?

You can start the guide from "softmods with the Homebrew channel installed".
