    Ca I am noob

I'm a noob.. hear me roar!!! No seriously, I just bought a Wii and had a few questions that I tried searching for but couldn't find definite answers for. Assuming I get through the soft-modding process alright: a) If I was to download a copy of Skyward Sword because I didn't want to ruin the packaging on my copy, could I stream it from my computer on the network connection? Or does it only work from a USB drive? b) If it only works from a USB drive, could I use a 32gb flash drive? Or do I need to invest in an external HDD? c) Could you give me a couple options on HDD purchases and brands? I really have no desire to amass a huge collections of games. I think like a 200gb drive would be more than adequate. Anyone have a good link to purchase online in Canada?? gah... tried to edit it so it doesn;t look like a wall of text... can't seem to add blank lines

if you bought a game, and own it, what is the difference between ripping and downloading to get the iso?

what if u bought a game and damaged it before you could rip it? would you still be a pirate if you d/l'd it?
The only thing i fear is........ RUST

    Ok heres the story.

We dont support piracy here. I dont know what anyone would think of your situation. It seems, at best, suspect. If you insist on downloading a copy of a game you own, thats your business.
Here's an old adage I've heard. Many people enjoy peeing in the shower. If you are one of those people, and decide you want to pee in the shower, you'd do well not to talk about it in public. Noone here (except maybe DacoTaco) wants to know that you pee in the shower, nor do we care. So dont tell us. Capiche?
    Enough said.

No, you cannot stream anything from the network. Yes, you can run games off of a USB stick. Western digital elements drives are my choice.

Thank you for your answers. Much appreciated. Also would like to address the "piracy" issues. The digital laws of Canada allow you to have copy(s) of products you own. Not sure how it works in other countries, but it certainly isn't a piracy issue to make a digital copy of a product you already paid for.

Thanks for clarifying. No, it is not a problem to make copies of games you have bought. Your first post just made it sound like you had just downloaded an iso from a torrent.
