    Softmod Wii 4.3 and Netflix

I have had my Wii softmoded for quite some time now and I want to update netflix channel. When I start netflix it ask me if I want to update the channel, but I tell it no due to my Wii being softmoded.

Can I update this channel and everything be alright?

There is a netflix guide available on this site, but I heard the new version is horrible.

Yeah I was doing some searching after I posted this and came across some tutorials on it and I doubt I am even going to update it. Do you know of a way to stop it from asking me to update?

As far as I know you can decline it, but it will prompt upon reentry until it gets what it wants lol.
Of coarse I also think the bugginess in the new version will be looked into and fixed soon. I would stay tuned for further details.

if this helps DEC 2, 2012 i had the same issue have a softmodded 4.1u now, came from a 4.3u, and installed Netflix way back when I found the softmod files, and now it locks me out of netflix and says i have to update wii store, and if i try and open wii store it asks me to update wii system, so i say no. and never allowed in store. so i ran WAD Manager from BootLoader screen. and just pressed INSTALL Nintendo Shop and it searched for new version online and installed. then i opened store. and found netflix and there was an update button below. excited at this point i pressed update and then it asked SD or Wii install, idiot i am i think, i pressed wii install, then tried loading and over and over, in Netflix i get Error now with new one. IS this a problem with installing not on SD card over previous version and configs file.. im in a loop i think, i deleted netflix in homebrew channel, and tranfered the netflix from WII channel to SD WII channel and now my netfix is back on the wii.. and i have concluded its a problem with Netflix. i got past what some are stuck on above. now whats next. if this helps any try update to SD card and find out if that works. the proper method and clarity needed.
