Installing IOS to play a game

I am currently experiencing a black screen when playing a couple of games. From what I have read I need to install the IOS needed for my game as outlined here http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-use-run.html. I used the guide to identify which IOS I need and currently grabbing them with NUS. Before I install anything I want to be sure I understand this point to avoid bricking the Wii.

    Let's say for cars I need Cars Race O Rama.......................IOS53-64-v4113..........System Menu 3.4
The only thing I need to do is install IOS53-64-v4113 to play this game correct?

Any other tips tracks to get the games to play are appreciated.

    Thanks

Guess I did not share how I got around this, sorry.
I read multiple forum post and finally got the understanding how the dependencies work.
Second I softmodded years ago using doggeggs guide and never performed any updates.
Updating USBloaderGX and also installing Configurable USBloader allows me to play most games.
I still run into some issue with some PAL games but have not have the time to research the reason why. Pretty sure I will find it in a forum post.

If you havent updated your softmod since doggeggs guide then you are seriously outdated and will run into many problems with newer games along the way.. Not only are your cIOS probably outdated but your IOS aswell..

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here
