    Save Game in Lego Batman

Should be able to save a game and my progress in Lego Batman on my softmodded wii, right? Soft modding it doesn't disable my ability to save my progress in the game, does it?

I keep saving my game, and I see the save game slots get filled so I know something is happening, but then when I load those save games, it puts me in the batcave and not where I last left off.

    Am I missing something?

Games should save exactly as they would on a virgin Wii. What loader are you using?

i'm still getting all of my terminology down, but I think the loader that I am using is CFG.

This is a first as far as I am concerned. I have been using CFG for years and never had an issue such as this. Then again, I don't have that game. Are you certain that isn't where you are supposed to be?

You always start out in the batcave no matter where you saved. The game can only be saved at specific spots, once you complete it then it saves. You cannot save in the middle of a level.

Ok - so it sounds like I have just not made it far enough along for it to save and "show". I'll keep plugging along then.

Does anyone know how far I have to go to not have to re-do the very beginning? (I think its called "You can Bank on Batman", with the Riddler as the main villain, and clayface and Mr. Freeze along the way - possibly others too that I haven't met yet. Do I have to beat the Riddler before it will allow me to save and progress from there? Getting tired of Clayface and Mr. Freeze)

    Thanks guys.

After you beat clayface you should see a video then it should auto save for you. Maybe your memory is full on the wii or you did not accept the autosave option?

OK. Everything appears to be working as it should.

I would occasionally see the white bat signal - indicating that the auto save was occuring. And because I was able to select an empty save slot and see that it was later populated, I knew that something was happening.

What threw me was always starting in the batcave once a save was loaded. I anticipated being thrown back into the story, but that's not how it works. First Level is via the batmobile in the batcave - you go to it, enter it by pressing C, and then from there you get the option of which chapter to start from.

Thanks for the help and hints guys. Would have taken me a lot longer to figure that out on my own.
