Skyward Sword not loading up

Hi, I bought Skyward Sword today, but when I try to load it up it just gives me a black screen. This is using the original disc, and the normal Wii disc loader. I then tried to install the game to an HDD using USB Loader GX and loading it though that, and it just caused the Wii to restart. The Wii is PAL (as is the game) v3.2, and hard modded with a Wiikey, and soft modded, not sure what cIOS is has since I modded it a while ago now, but on the SD card there are two versions of it, 36r7 and 36r10, so I'd assume it was one of them; but I wasn't sure that was relevant, seeing at the original game won't even load. I also installed Priiloader thinking that might help, but it didn't do anything. Any suggestions?

I d take a look at the mod any wii guide to update your Mod. It sounds way out of date.... Install the ios update pack from that as well.. Update Usb Loader GX to the latest as well.. CFG USB Loader is also included in the guide..

More than likey your IOS are outdated and need to be updated.. also if your wiikey is old there are updates for that as well.. you can follow the link in my sig and post a system check but I already recommend following the softmod any wii guide in my sig to update your IOS and cIOS. Along with your loaders.

Ok thanks, I didn't really want to mess around with the modding if it wasn't necessary since I've pretty much forgotten everything. I'll give it go later, thanks for the help, I'll post back if I get it working.

Edit: Followed the guide and updated everything, and it's working fine now. Thanks for the help!
