For some reason preloader isn't being an idiot now, and "sees" the usb drive (well, it's allowing me to make changes to the setup)

Still not working on the usb loader/cfg loader though, both just crash shortly after trying to launch and kick me back to the system menu :-s

@Miskatonic - First, a bit of admin. Please use the EDIT button if you want to add additional thoughts to a previous post. No need to add more posts.

If your wii wont start with the sd card in, it's likely that you have something funky on the card and have bootmii installed as boot2. To troubleshoot stuff, dont use the forwarders on your system menu, instead try launching your apps from HBC and report back.

Ah, okay, I just saw the uninstall business, but how do I uninstall them ? (noob, I know)

Should this solve the flip-out with it refusing to boot with the SD in the socket ?

Yeah, I do have bootmii installed as boot2 - that's what the guide said to do. I guess there is indeed something on there that shouldn't be, not sure what, though :-o

Trying this app pack business now.

EDIT: That's BTTF working now on cfg when launched through the homebrew channel. One problem, though, that I didn't have before... When the cfg launches it says "could not detect fat1" or something like that, then I have to pick the partition that is WBFS on the USB (there isn't one, the whole drive is USB but it shows up as a partition). In the past, I've never had to do this with cfg. Something in my mind is making me think it's "seeing" the usb drive oddly which may also explain why the usb loader gx is hanging on launch. Any ideas ? Also, I'm still unsure as to how to remove the old usb loader gx from the channel screen (is this neccesary, yes ?). Also, a cfg loader channel popped up there whilst installing all the stuff from teh guide but that hangs on launch as I've already said.

Thanks so much for everyones help in the meantime, though ! Great to know it's up to date, just would be great to get it running smoothly as it was to begin with and make sure there's not loads of unneccesary junk kicking around :-)

EDIT : Just figured out I needed to change the automatic volume selection in CFG - seems to not have the hassle trying the wrong partition now. I reckon I can just go on and delete the usb GX from the front page if cfg works fine. Still got this thing with the SD not allowing the console to boot, though, what could that be ?

EDIT : Nope, priiloader is just set to go to the main wii channel page. Here's a list of what's on the memory stick, incase anyone can see anything erroneous...

I can supply more info on internal folders if needed but I figure this would probably be enough - I'm sure my glaring error is apparent to someone who knows what they're doing :-)

Thanks in advance, hope someone can spot the problem.
