youre still not doing something right because none of the ios are installed (see the no patch?) Is your system updated to the latest software? How old is your wii? I gotta say something isnt registering right.
It WAS running on 4.3u before I followed Mauifrog's guide, and now (afterwards), it's at 4.1u. How can I go about updatng it so I can use the USB Loader GX?
EDIT: When I ran USB Loader GX, I got a screen I haven't seen before. A Stack Code Dump and Error Dump (<I think an error dump; something else), then "reloading in 5 secs", and "reload", but then it froze :/.

That is not quite correct. That syscheck looks fine. OP's issue lies elsewhere.

lol thats what I get for opening my mouth when I dont know what Im talking about. I assumed it was wrog cause its different than mine lol. I dont get it then what the issue is. everything just worked correctly for me when I did it. I wish there was a way for us to see what you were doing wrong.
Hmm...if the syscheck looks fine, then why can't I run USB Loader GX/USB Cnfg Loader???
Are there any just straight-up guides for either or? Maybe that would help.
EDIT: Reading Mauifrog's guide, "Softmod ANY Wii", Chapter 2, one of the first few lines was this:
Have 350 free blocks of nand space
^How can I check my NAND available spacing? I think THAT may be my problem, not having enough space.

I think thats your Wii's own memory so go to settings and memory management. its 512mb I think thats like 1800 or 3000 blocks or something. so unless you have alot of saved games or something it should be empty

If that's the case, I have more than enough space haha (700-800 blocks). But I do remember the first two times I ran the USB Cnfg Loader (that came with Mauifrog's guide, of course) worked; just that I didn't format/partition my HDD for it to be recognized. The third time after (not even messing with the settings, mind you), it just...quit working. It took me back to the Wii menu (and still does).
and you are loading it through the HBC? it has to be on the SD card and the SD card has to be in the Wii
When I load USB Cnfg Loader now, it shows a black background with a blue line horizontally across the screen with the letters: "cfg" displaying. In the lower-right hand corner, there are two lines:
...What exactly does that mean? Could that possibly be the problem here?
that sounds right. thats what mine does. does it ever move from that screen?
