System Menu 4.0+ supports SDHC cards up to 32 GB. Sandisk is recommended for best compatibility. Some other brands may work, but no guarantees.

If you are softmodded already it will be fine, but if you have not yet softmodded you will need a 2GB sd card to complete your softmod.. Some apps wont read a sdhc card or anything above 2gb.
Fyi boot2 wont read above 2gb so sdhc should be out of queztionQuote:

Priiloader is not dependent on your SD card
Np mate we all started there :). I believe baierme2 was referring to bootmii, not boot2. Bootmii is where you create your NAND backup. Some SDHC cards just do not play well with bootmii. I have seen more failures than successes in creating backups using SDHC cards. Priiloader is an entirely different app. Where bootmii needs certain folders to be on your SD card in order to be able to run, priiloader does not. It DOES need the hacks_hash.ini file that is on the SD card in order to enable the hacks, but can still be launched without the SD card. As stated before, SM needs to be on 4.x in order to recognize SDHC cards.
Doesn't priiloader store .cfg files in the SD card?
Anyway, every SDHC card I've owned doesn't workfor my Wii. Coincidentally, Every SDHC card I've purchased was purchased with the intent to be used for my Wii. And that sucks, especially the part about the cost of 16 GB sd cards the year Wii began supporting SDHC.
EDIT: Damn, I mean .ini. Anyway, doesn't Priiloader utilize the SD card by storing files in it?
