3tb WD fat32 WD usb WORKING

This thread applies to and works with a Western Digital USB 2.0/3.0 3tb exHDD, 4.3u Wii with Usbloader_gx v2.2 cios249
There are many forums with many people on many sites that say this cannot be done.
I have tried a bunch of different progs (windows,dos,Hp Disk,fat32formatter,acronis disk director & easeus part. manager) all with no avail. In all of those other progs. Windows will not allow you to format in fat32 over 2.2tb. and in Windows you cannot create a MBR disk over 2.2tb. Acronis will make a 3tb fat32 GPT disk but Acronis will not recognize a 3tb fat32 partition (at least in the free trial version). AND the Wii will not recognize the 3tb GPT disk and gets hung up @ "loading USB".
Before you start make sure the disk is Allocated and Formatted to whatever. You can do that in < control panel, administrative tools, computer management, storage, disk management > However you split it up and what format doesnt matter, your going to wipe it anyways. If you have a drive in WBFS format just plug it in this Acronis will see it, no need to format it for windows to see it. At the time i was just about to give up i had 10gb fat32 and 2750gb ntfs. (had it formatted full @ fat32 GPT at one point as well but like i said acronis wouldnt see it.
-To start u can download the image software HERE . (its 144mb)
- if u need a program to unzip CLICK HERE free download
- Run the program and click ADD NEW DISK
- Click on the 3tb drive and hit NEXT
- If you want to make multiple partitions you can do it here (select size)
- The destination could contain useful information BLAH BLAH BLAH - hit OK
- When it asks if u want it MBR/LBA or GPT select LBA click NEXT
- Are you sure yadda yadda yadda select yes/next
FINISHED
nothing fancy, nothing special - just persistence
PLUG IT IN AND AWAY YOU GO !
