USB Loader GX update error, games lost? Please help.

    Hi everyone,

Trying to get the PAL game Xenoblade Chronicles working on usb loader GX. Force NTSC and error 102 fix would not work. I then read in another forum that it can be as a result of my usb loader needing an update.

So I decided to update my usb loader GX as I have been using it for a couple years and thought to try an update.

In the middle of the update it generated an error 1102, problem with the WAD Manager or something. So when I hit "OK". When trying to load the Xenoblade Chronicles game again, I tried a different IOS in the settings, as this worked for Monster Hunter Tri.

The screen then just went black. Rebooted my Wii, and ran USB Loader and it asks to either select partition or format. I tried selecting partition and it shows no games. Tried loading my external via WBFS Manager and it shows the drive is not formatted.

Am I screwed.... what caused this, and can it be fixed? All I did was try to update USB Loader GX. Did trying a different OS in the game load settings for Xenoblade corrupt my drive or something? I hope I did not lose all 116 of my games.....

Hopefully someone can explain to me (in layman's terms) how I screwed things up... and if I can fix it.

the problem is with the hard drive itself as it is now asking me to format or partition. USB loader could have an issue from my attempt to update but why? Discs are not a problem so far. I am just wondering how my hd could have done this as so far it shows that it needs formatting and that all my games are gone. Or so I think.... all 116 of them

You can always re-rip the games from the 116 original hard copies

not on my computer any more... I was storing the isos but ran out of room. after adding them to the drive via wbfs I deleted them, thinking I could put them back by extracting back to my computer if needed. I'm just trying to figure out if they can be salvaged from my external any more but wbfs is saying it needs formatting along with usb loader so I dont know
