    Bootmii Question

I softmodded my Wii yesterday. When I was going through the tutorial, I loaded bootmii as an IOS (my only option for bootmii). After I was finished with the process I formatted my SD card and added a few apps to it, but I took the bootmii file off of the SD card. Now when I got to HBC and try to launch bootmii, it just hangs up. The drive on the wii flashes blue and nothing comes up. I've given it a minute or so, but nothing happens. Am I accessing bootmii incorrectly? Should bootmii still be on the SD card? Please help.

    Btw, I have a 4.3U Wii.

If you were following the guide correctly you would have backed up the bootmii file along with your nand and keys to your pc. The bootmii folder has to be on the card to launch it. If you did not save the file to your pc then you can run the hackmii installer and prepare your sd card again.

This will probably seem like a really dumb question, but how do I re-install bootmii? Two days ago when I did it, I think I loaded it with Letterbomb as part of the HBC installation.

Make sure you have the bootmii folder on your sd card ---> Go to the HB channel and hit home ---> Select launch bootmii ---> Voila

I am having the exact same problem. After installing a letterbomb I cant run bootmii. I get a black screen with flashing disk slot. I have followed this guide

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

    I have a 4.3u

I am stuck at chapter 2. Any ideas. I tried reloading everything on the sd card, but it does nothing

    Thanks for any help

Just realized my SD card was formatted wrong. I did NTFS..... Not sure what to do!

I formatted fat32 and re loaded. Success! OP Check format structure on your SD Card

Follow Chapter 1 of the Softmod ANY Wii guide using the exploit for whatever system menu version you are on.

I am currently having the same exact issue on a 4.3u. I formatted my sd card with the recommended Panasonic formatter. Any ideas as to what might have caused this to happen? should I just use the Windows 7 formatter in FAT32?

If you mean you are having the same problem as in post 1 (the original poster, not the hijacker...oh wait, you are one too!) then just download hackmii installer and run it through hbc. It will put the files back on your sd card and allow you to run bootmii.
