    Frozen Homebrew channel

Hi; I loaded the Homebrew Channel using the WII 4.3 guide, it seemed to work, I got the channel showing, and the bubble page upon opening it. But, I downloaded some Homebrew games onto the SD card, but the WII just freezes when I click on the "start boot mii". Is there a special format the games need to be saved in?

You should not click on "start bootmii". Just make sure you place the games in the apps folder and they should work.

Oh. I actually just deleted everything off my SD card and copy/pasted the games files onto the card. I put 3 of them on the card. I need to make a file called apps? is there an SD format program I need? Thanks so much for responding, also

The Homebrew centipede game. I jut re-tried it, after reformatting my SD card with a SD card reformatting program. I made a file named apps, then copied the centipede game into it, same result. Hmmm. Maybe I don't have Homebrew loaded right, when I out in a backup game, the backed up game doesn't star either.

Does anyone think it's worth deleting and then re-loading the Homebrew channel, to then see if it will work?

Could you make a directory listing of your SD card?

No, deleting hbc is not going to fix the fact that you are not putting your apps on the card correctly.

    sd/apps/game name/boot.dol

some games just fail to work too....centipede may be one of them that just code dumps.

Hey, on this topic; I also put in a backed-up copy of Disney Epic Mickey, and the wii screen goes black, with the wii blinking blue lights at me. I thought I bricked up the wii, but no, it works, just the backed up game doesn't play. I thought it was a bad burn, so I reburned the DVD making sure it was an iso file. Do you think my backed up version is corrupted?

That could be the case. Try reripping your original game with Cleanrip.
