My Kid formatted the wii, do I need to start over.

My son formated the WII today, forgot to turn on the parental controls on to prevent it. Anyway the HomeBrew Channel is gone and I was wondering if there is a way to just re-install it from priiloader or do I need to start over with fresh super smash stack?

Follow the any wii guide in my sig. The exploit you use depends on system menu.

That's what I was hoping to avoid as it's already modded but lost the installed channels when he formatted. I was hoping there was another way as I don't have my super smash brothers disk at the moment.

Yeah, I seen the letter bomb on there, I can skip all the back ups though as I already have them done from previous though correct?

If you still have your nand backup, you can skip that step. Dont skip any others. Do everything. Soup to nuts. At the end you'll have a nice shiny wii that you can put a "mauifrog inside" sticker on.

Well, now I'm having problems, I was on 4.3U when I first hacked the wii, when I tried the letter bomb it froze the wii so I decided to check the version, now it says I have 4.1 so I switched to the Bannerbomb V1 which of course also just freezes the wii. No idea where to go from here. Currently my Wii says it has 4.1 but it used to have 4.3U.

Took a while but got it working with bannerbomb, had to wait until ready to launch before putting the sd card in otherwise it froze. I'm all good now and thanks Bluphant for your help and mauifrog for the guide.
