Okay, need some help with my usb flash drive and USB loader.

I haver a sony 16gb flash drive that I'm trying to use with the USB loader app. I have everything seemingly set up properly on my Wii, the usb loader channel works fine... but when I load it, despite the USB flash drive being plugged into the USB slot in the back, it says theres no WBSF drive. I've used the WBSF drive converter to convert a partitioned portion of the flash drive, I've used my computer to format it to fat32, then to WBSF with the manager, I just don't know whats going wrong. I tried using the format option IN the USB loader program, but it gives me error -6 or something along those lines instead of actually doing anything... any ideas what might be happening?

I just tried turning the partitions both into fat32 and tried seeing if the usb loader would format it to the right thing, turns out it's not able to even detect any partitions.... it says after I click on format partition, that there are no partitions to be found -6 or something to that degree.

    -6:
SD/USB Loader Error Partition not Found: Most likely have a cIOS installed incorrectly, out of date, or missing. Possibly formatted the device incorrectly or device is not compatible yet.
Is the drive set active? Are you plugged into the correct port? The one closest to the edge of the wii is the correct port. Did you do the mod correctly to begin with? Post a syscheck.

Fat32 is fine, just rip your games through the wii or use wii backup manager.

Okay so I'm not sure what I"m looking for on the system check but I just ran one so let me know.. As for the correct port, with the wii on its side, with the SD car flap bellow the disk drive, should the USB flash drive be in the top or the bottom USB port?

make the whole thumb drive fat32, I don't know how you got partitions on it, but regardless, delete everything and format is as FAT32 and set it active in disk management, easeus, whatever you use. If that still doesn't work, then your flash drive just doesn't work with your Wii

Okay so let me get this straight.. Am i suppose to forget about WBFS all together, just use FAT32, put the ISO on that, unpartitioned flash drive, and load it with USB Loader or is there a better program for me to be using then that one?

Also would it somehow be easier for me to use a disk instead and just play it with that? I could probably get some dual layered disks and burn the backup ISO onto that, if I had the right program to play it off of on the Wiii.

yeah, you don't need wbfs, just make it FAT32 with your computer, and use Wii Backup Manager to transfer your iso from your computer to it OR rip the game to the thumb drive with the Wii and a loader
EDIT: don't forget to mark it Active so it will work
