USB loader GX problem....game freezes on start.

    Hi,

I am running the USB loader GX (Rev 14 I think) on my Wii 4.2U. I have been storing my games on a USB hard drive. Everything has been running great until now. I just started having problems with EA Sports Active. It used to play fine, but now any time I click on it in USB loader GX, the blue dvd drive lights, and everything just freezes. The only way I can power off the Wii is to unplug it. Since everything freezes before it gets to the game screen, I have no way of deleting it off my hard drive.

All the other games still work fine. The only other thing I noticed was that one of the other games (A boy and his Blob) is not showing up in the game menu. The game is still there, and it still works and plays fine, but the only way I can find it is to click on a different game, and start to scroll through the games. I will eventually run across a game that has no name on it, and I recognize that it is the game (A boy and his Blob) by the music. I click on it, and it runs fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It said (Rev 14) in the credits of the USB Loader GX. Maybe I read it wrong? I have not done any updates other than try to update the USB Loader itself via the wireless internet. I tried to update the USB Loader today and it said that there were no new updates available. If there is some info you need from the Wii / loader, just let me know where to check.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

Old thread, I know, but my problem is similar. I just bought an 8gb lexar Jump Drive twist and turn. I have my goldeneye game file on it. When I select the game case in USBloaderGX, the whole wii freezes and I can't do anything. Any solutions? I selected "Force NTSC" in the settings but nothing has helped. I have not tried to work any other games. Thanks for any help and input.
