Difficulty with game freezing at same point

I'm new to wii hacking and undertook the venture to play Xenoblade. I was playing fine until one specific point int he game where it asks you to save and then goes into a cut scene (not the first time it did this). It's just this one scene that freezes and I can start a new game. It's about six hours into the game so I went and played back to it using an ISO not ripped from my disc. Same issue.

I am using IOS 248 and have tried the CFG loader and the GX loader. Both freeze up. Using the disc itself also has the same problem. Other games appear to play fine, but I only played the game for a little bit.

I've tried searching the forums, but haven't really found a post that seems like it is relevant to my issue or I am not searching for the correct items. I'm not sure what I should be looking for or what the next best steps that would actually be useful are sp my troubleshooting is at a standstill. If anyone has advice on where to look next, I would be appreciative.

It is funny how a new game comes out available only in PAL regions and new users pop up from the US with the game...

that tells me you don't have the disc, if you do have the disc, re-rip it.

I'm sorry if I have offended in some way because the reason I have altered my wii is because the game is unlikely to made available in the US.

I have ripped the game again and the problem occurs in the same spot. I looked for an alternate source as I believed perhaps the problem was with the disc which was ordered from Zavvi and I have no way of knowing otherwise if the problem was media related. I have attempted to eliminate as many possibilities as I could which is why I sought help on further direction.

Thank you for the time and advice provided.
