Can't play genuine after softmod

Hi all!

Firstly, thanks for the great site. Its quite amazing how much useful material is available here!

So, I followed the guide here:

And I have softmodded my Wii. But now when I insert a genuine game, I get a message "cannot read disc". I believe it is somthing to do with me changing the region while performing the softmod.

So my question is, is there a way to "region free" the device. or should I simply redo the softmod using the correct package (i.e. the one for Australia). Also, on that note, could somebody please look at the list and tell me which the correct package for Australia would be? I'm guessing its the one that is PAL but I'm really not sure.

Is it simple to perform the steps again from chapter 2 in that guide and remod it back to australia settings so that it will play my genuine games?

Yes, It was 'E'. So I think I'm correct in assuming that the PAL image was the correct one. So my question is. What do I need to do in order to load that image back on? Do I simply follow chapter 2 again with the other image or do I need to remove the old one first etc..
