Upgrade HBC from beta9 to newer?
Hi I have a wii that my brother gave me. It came softmodded with the HBC installed. My optical drive is broken so i have to use a usb hard drive (wd My book 2tb). My question is should I follow one of the guides by mauifrog to update my wii and ios files. I do not have a nand backup. Is this something that i need. I'm really scared of bricking my wii because my girlfriend uses it everyday and i cannot afford a new one. Everything is working pretty well, however I cannot get cfg loader to work with a forwarder. It only works from the hbc channel. Also whenever I load the HBC it says a newer version is avaliable to replace the currrent version (beta 9). will upgrading be ok? Oh yes and anouther thing when i use WiiMC it says current ios unsupported, or something like that. Not all the movies i have play and the program seems to crash a lot. I have included a syscheck printout. Please any advice would be helpfull.
