    Help backing up games

I just got done modding my wii and installing the homebrew channel. I followed this guide http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html worked perfect. now i just need help backing up my games. i would like to use usb loader gx but i have usb loader cfg and a my passport 500gb eternal hard drive formatted to ntfs. i know it says it is recommended to have it formatted to fat32 but i was having problems getting it to format so ive skipped that for now. my problem is having the games backed up. when i go to the cfg usb loader it says write ntfs disabled and when i get on usb loader gx it says that i dont have it formatted correctly and i click to format and it says failed. thanks in advance for any help!!!

Well, it sounds to me like you need to get on with the formatting.

I agree with odd. Do a google search for a program called EaseUS. Its free and you should be able to format your drive to fat32. Make sure it is set to primary and active.

You can use ntfs with cfg usbloader you just need to take your sd card out of your wii and put it in your pc to enable the ntfs write because cfg usbloader comes with the ntfs write partition disable, because i am using a ntfs format hard drive right now. Just add this in the cfg usbloader settings ntfs_write= 1 and that will let you rip your game disc to your ntfs formatted hdd. Hope that help you out it works fine for me.

    Cfg Usbloader Ntfs_write= 1 IMGS

thanks for all your help guys. the program you gave me to format to FAT32 is awesome. thanks artrip for the alternate method as well. the only other question i have is how to get a channel for the bootloader gx i like it more but i have to go through the homebrew channel. how to get a channel added directly for it?
