    IOS always changes after I reset wii??

    Can someone educate me on why in multi-mod manager when I change my IOS to say 250 for example and exit and re-enter MMM it always defaults back to IOS58? Do I have to save my changes before exiting?? This one still stumps me don't fully understand it
    thanks

    That is the default ios, you can change it by downloading a different config file. They are in the guide I linked above.

    The issue I'm having is with an older WD HD. I cannot sync the HD unless I unplug/replug the unit and then it will "marry the wii". I read somewhere that possibly changing the ios may help with syncing issues. I downloaded auto ios txt file and saved to the root of SD cards but still stuck on ios58. I have tired all the loaders i.e. wiiflow, gx loader, cfg, etc. with no luck. This is an older Western Digital 1TB with power button and possibly 2 additional fire wire ports??

    Hi Netboy1991, What setup are you using for your 1tb drive, ie: what loader, what cios, and what format,??? Do you run with (management files) on root of hard drive or SD card?

    Grandpa I'm currently running willflow 2.2 with 1TB HD formatted with WBFS. Files are via the SD card. MMM keeps defaulting to iso58. Cannot set 249 as default tried with files mentioned above but no dice

    I'm no pro here dude, But i'm sure your mixed up with something. System is running on IOS 58, cios is 249. I no longer use WBFS format, I do however use wbfs files. running on FAT32 I've no experience with wiiflow so i can't comment. I keep reading your post over. Do you not choose ios in the wiiflow settings, I use CFG loader, with hard drive No SD card all files on root of hard drive, when i select a game, I can then choose which cios to load it/Play it with. 222,223,224,249,250. I can then save it. It then works every time,once setup select save global settings. and good to go. Maybe search for a wiiflow tutorial for more help. Is you 1tb drive partitioned. I'm a little confused. I only use SD cards if i'm running NTFS fomatted drive. With Wiimc media player.

    good luck:::
