    Syscheck Report

I was wondering if someone could answer a stupid question? I ran syscheck and it shows I have system menu 4.0/4.1u. Why 2 seperate menus? I thought they went 3.2.....4.0,4.1,4.2 and 4.3? Thanx in advance.

Oh, I forgot to mention that when I softmodded I downgraded from 4.3 to 4.1. At the time I thought you had to.

If you have an older wii it's best to be on 4.1 because you can play backups from disc. 4.3 disables this (as does the newer wii's drives).
Your syscheck looks fine aside from the duplicate cios in 248 and 249 (no big deal).

The only difference between 4.0 and 4.1 is a bug fix for sports resort where you had to rewatch the motion plus video every time after you played a wiiware game. There were no other changes as far as I am aware. That could be why its showing 4.0/4.1 because essentially they are the same.

Ok, thanx. The 249, 250 ios's have a different base, something to do with Wiiflow and game compatibility, or something or other!

Yes it is about game compatibility. Most games need a base of 56. A rare few like Black Ops need 57. In the settings of your loader you can set which cios to load from. What I was referring to was 248 and 249 being the same, but like I said before no big deal.

When you pointed out that 248+249 were the same and I looked at my sysck report I looked at 249+250 for some reason. Thanx for showing me that, I didn't even notice. I just fixed them. Staring at a monitor all day and then at night when I get home makes my eyes go buggy.

Hi, I am also wondering about my syscheck report. I compared mine with the one in this thread, and there are differences (like I don't have IOS3, some rev differences and sometimes I'll have NAND access where @styro didn't have).

Could you please help me understanding my syscheck? Thank you very much!
