Quasi working at least. One of my wiis has a busted drive and it still plays ok. As long as (and this is my speculation) the wii itself can communicate ok with the drives controller..... it should be ok. Fortunately I can still rip my titles with my other wii.

So there's no way to put an iso file straight onto the hard drive, without using the Wii?

You can get an older pc drive to copy your games to..... Search google for DVD rom drives for pc that read wii games..... Then you can backup the games via your pc and then transfer to wii hdd....

How would I transfer it to HDD? Would I need to use a specific program?
What's wrong with downloading an iso and placing it on the harddrive?
Can someone also give me a list of Wii Dvd Drives capable of playing burned wii games?

    Thank You.

Be careful how you word things Zustakahn. You should maybe take your wii Games around to your pals house who has a working modded wii and Rip your originals to your hard drive using his console. Piracy is not tolerated on this site, You can then play them at home. At least it will prove the theory of, How dead your wii drive must be before Hard drive doesn't work.
