Us WAD MANAGER v1.7 FREEZES AFTER SELECTING IOS249

Hey everyone! I'm definitely a new-b here, so thanks in advance for the help. I successfully installed HBC with no problem. Now I'm trying to install Wad Manger v1.7. I get it to load, but after it asks me what IOS to install (I've been trying 249) my wiimote disconnects. I've tried waiting and re-syncing, but no luck. How can I fix this? Thanks!

If I were you I would follow the softmod any wii guide. It will make it much easier for you. Take a look at it and follow it. Since you allready have the HB channel skip that step and start with the next.
