feel like answering alot of simple questions? help me out :)

k well, i lost my SD card, so meanwhile until i get one, i'm gonna try to use the USB which i read once was possible to replace the SD.
before all that:

okay, I have the hombrew channel and neogamma.
I have internet connection.
and i have a USB...

So my questions are:
If it is possible to use the USB instead of the SD card, please Link me up.
Is it possible to somehow get channels downloaded on my Wii thru my USB?
Is there anyway I can download the Internet Channel using my USB?

Yes, I'd like to answer simple questions:)

1. Yes, it is possible. Format as FAT32.
2. You mean forwarders, channels, as wad and intsall them with wad manager?
3. Why not download from the shop channel?

k so when i format it to Fat32 it'll just read it like if it was as an SD card?

I have some general knowledge about that stuff, but I didn't mean that, but thanks anyways I had forgotten about the Wad manager. I guess once I have the USB working as a SD I won't have a problem downloading that stuff.
now, once I have that, do you know where I can get the internet channel?

and how do I download the the Shop Channel?

when i go into the shop channel that i already have it asks for an update, I head updating may brick my wii, I guess it depends if that update is for the channel or for the wii. so will it brick it?

haha okay. well i got another question. theres a guide on how not to brick your wii and it says never to update, well when i try to update the SHOP CHANNEL it sends to me to optino to do a wii system update. and I imagine..thats not a good idea, what do i do?
