Wii wont play games, cant do nand backup. Scared on what to do!

Okay so i decided to softmod my wii and i used the USB Loader tutorial on wehackwii.com. I am running 4.3U system menu. I followed the instructions exactly and installing the homebrew channel and bootmi was a breeze with the smashstack hack. Being unable to load .wad files in the wad manager (kept getting ret error 1020) and after some reading i found the trucha bug needed to be installed so i followed the same tutorial right to the very end step. Now on step 6 in the DOP-Mii instructions i MAY have made a mistake i didnt load files from sd i downloaded from NUS through DOP -Mii program. And ended up going back and repeating it loading from SD the second time. I dont rly think it was an issue bcuz after that my .wads loaded just fine and i installed super mario 3 and tetris party :) . Very shortly after i noticed that my disc channel said wii system update and now it wont let me play over half of my games. Namely Black ops/wii sports resort and so on.

I went to do a NAND restore and just reverse everything cuz i got a little scared. I noticed Bootmi was no longer in the homebrew channel when i pushed the homekey. I reloaded super smash bros and installed it again. (super smash bros still works) Upon going into bootmi and trying to restore the NAND it warned me and i also read that with bootmi as ios its very dangerous to run a backup that way for it could do irreversable damage. And cant do it through priiloader either cuz its same thing (bootmi/ios) So now im stuck and dont know what to do. I havent been able to find myself a solution and im wondering what to do next!? Please. Can i install another ios or some kind of update so that i can play my games? When i try to run them from the disc loader app in the homebrew channel i get blue screen with error #002. Did i miss something or mess something up? Am i doomed to only play games from my sd now? Id rather not reverse it all if i can get away with it and im not that stupid with these sort of things. But before i try anything i really need some guidance cuz now im lost.

Addon info: I also tried to downgrade my system menu to 4.1 after everything above, installed the ios it told me too on the wehackwii tutorial and then installed the 4.1 menu..... upon restart of my wii i was still on menu 4.3U. I have feeling i did something wrong but i dont know where i went wrong therefore i dont know how to fix.... or reverse it.....

Also i dont know if its worth mentioning or not but when i installed priiloader the hacks wouldnt work. i tried many different variations if hacks.ini but got the error "cant find hacks.ini on fat device or nand memory" The program itself worked just fine

nope as you were warned by bootmii and a nand restore with bootmii as a ios is dangerous.

I would follow the mod any wii guide on here.

If you have accepted a update from Nintendo then you would have stubbed your cios or worse.

The 2 games you have stated are problematic games and there are guides for both...

We cant help you with guides from other places so stick to the ones here.

I never accepted any nintendo updates i knew that was a bad idea and its nice to know those games are problematic. i was scared i wouldnt be able to play any! I will follow mauifrogs post exactly and report back if anythings different,

Just to clarify i should leave my wii exactly how it is and just start his tutorial from chapter 2? considering i already have the HBC and bootmi installed. as well as a nand backup i cant see a use for if i cant use it lol? Sorry for sounding like a noob i just dont wanna make any mistakes considering i already may have without knowing.

Yes it will overwrite what ever you have done so far....
Did you install the latest HB and ios 58?
If you didn't then go from the part where it says for people with the hb channel

My hombrew channels says
"1.0.8
IOS58 v24.32"

So im assuming my answer to your question would be yes. This is all extremely helpful the quick replys are very much appreciated. Starting from chapter 2 with fingers crossed
