problems with backup of new super mario 3

I backed up new super mario 3 on a brand new western digital my book 1 tb hard drive. i partitioned and formatted half the drive to fat32 and i backed up a few of my games. ive tried my other games and have had no problems as of yet but when i play backed up new super mario i get the following messege " AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. PRESS THE EJECT BUTTON, REMOVE THE GAME DISC, AND TURN OFF THE POWER TO THE CONSOLE. PLEASE READ THE Wii OPERATIONS MANUAL FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS" this happens every time i go and play this game you might be able to play for a little bit and then black screen with this messege. has anyone else had similar problems? what can be done to fix this problem? as i run out the door for work a rough solution ... have you tried an Alt.dol from USB loader cfg to boot it... like for example Mortal combat Armageddon Mk7.dol?
Problem with this place is the tutes are that damn good that one could end up not learning as deep as they should... Dont just rely on the tutorials understand your Wii...

Thank you for response to my question...

Thank you for your response to my previous Thread / Question below (which for some reason, it isn't showing up today after submitting it yesterday this is why I included it below). Ish!, I am very computer illiterate, but not a big gamer, so if you could please break it down for me. Are you saying to plug in my laptop (which is a Macbook Pro) to the Wii Console USB port and update the software or something like that. If you could just break i down for me which would be very appreciated. Also, FYI - Back a couple of months ago, I did go into the Wii settings and made sure the updates were up to date which I will do again after submitting this ... thank you again for all your help and anyone else that might know a fix to this error!!!!

My Question from yesterday: "Have you been able to find a fix to this issue? I purchased Call of Duty - Black Ops for my boys about a week ago and got the same Error Message a couple of days ago after working just fine for about a week... Error Message:"An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button, remove the Game Disc, and turn off the power to the console. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for further instructions."
