Old time Mod. and Looking to Update

    Ok..
    KDaver Here..
Modded my Wii many years ago. Ver. 3.2U I am assuming it is a USA ver. since I bought it in CT. but I am now over Seas in Denmark. Not sure if that will make a difference on updates.

went ok.. but now I would like to add some features.
Such as using the DVD as a DVD Player. and getting the use of the SD card to more then 2Gig.

I was wondering If I should update and How? everything is working fine Except that I can only have the HD drive connected to the USB. the 2nd US does not accept anything else when the HD is Connected.

Kids like playing the We Sing but I have to use the DVD to play and not the HD back up. Would like to find out what I need to do to get it to see the 2 Mics and the HD.
Or even if it is possible.

I would also like to say thanks in advance for any and all information and help.

    KDaver.

Your post was in the introduction forum, wrong place to ask questions. I moved it here for you.

If you would like to completely update your softmod then you can follow the softmod ANY wii link in my signature. It will put you on SM 4.1 and get you all of the current cios. There is a section in the guide for updating. Be sure to check your wiis region and follow the links accordingly.

If you would like to just get your wii sing to work then you will need to set your loader to use ios222 to run the game. If you do not have 222 you can get it here.

Personally I recommend that you update your entire mod.

Sorry for the wrong place.. Thought I was introducing my self with a little info on what I was going to look for on the site. and what I has been done already..

Thanks for the info on what I need to do.. I will be reading alot more before I try to do an update. and from where to do it. and hopefully ask the right Questions in the right location.

    Wii Ver 3.2U
    Model No. RVL-001 (USA)

so I am assuming to follow the USA MOD pack even though I am in Denmark with it.

Im suspecting that you are not using cios 223 to play music games.

Post a syscheck and we can see what needs updating.. [GUIDE] How to Run & Post a System Check

I know I probably have to much loaded. and not needed..
Right now not using it for anything but playing the back up games I have from the US.
Was using it home to stream videos to it from my computer. but the program does not work for overseas locations so I dont have it anymore.
Using it to play misic would be great. but I have most of my music on my Hard drive attached the laptop. and us it.
would like to be able to use the internet and some of the other network things. with out the worry of updating and wiping out what I can do now.

    Damn that is old lol

Use Mauifrogs Mod Any Wii guide to mod/update. http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html During the mod make sure you do the ios update that is included in one of the steps.

Look here for getting music games going. http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-games/69...mes-guide.html

You will have all the required cios's after the mod to get the music game(s) running. Just look at the guide to see what you have to do.

Well you kind of have to update the mod every so often to keep things running smoothly. Have a look at wiimc for media streaming etc (films, music etc)

You cios at 249 is rev 10 we are at rev 21 now.

If its making the backup then it takes 10 -15 mins.. Because you have such an old wii you must have bootmii installed as boot 2 which is the best brick protection you can have so make sure you keep that nand backup and keys safe.
