Help with my wii.

Im new at forum, i have 2 days trying to softmod my wii. seems to be im doing something wrong, cant get it to read backup cd's.

1. I had my wii on 3.4u it was softmoded, but still could not read backup cd's.
2. I Formated, it halfbricked. and then i restored by installing 4.2u
3. Then, i installed Homebrew chanel, and bootmii (as an ios)
4. i installed priiloader
5. I installed Darkcorpcios (somethinglikethat)
6. Neogamma R8 v9
And doesnt work.

I've done lots of more stuff. Installed and updated all the IOS, Installed 249, 36, followed tons of tutorials and i still cant get it.

1. It gives me error of "The Disc couldnt be read, please ...."
2. I uninstalled Darkcorpcios pack, and the it gave me "error 1290 and 1224"

I think im close to get it , but i just dont know what else to do. I have everything to do it just need a little help here. And , no , i cant play games trough usb. i have call of duty reflex , Mario Kart, Animal Crossing. to test. It read's Original cds well.

If you can , please leave link and detailed instructions (step by step) so it will be helpful for me and others.

how do i start from 0 ? Formatting my wii? because last time i did it, i bricked it.
