Please help with exception (DSI) occurred when USB Loader GX loaded

    Hi,

I have searched everywhere for solution with this but none seems to fix the problem. And sorry since I'm very new to these things as someone did for us a while back. Anyway, I just recently have this blank screen with bunch of stack and code dump while loading the USB Loader GX. Can someone please help me with this?

I have done these few things after many searches:
    1. Checked for corrupted images in SD card and found none. Just to be safe, I even completed removed the cover images folder - NOT working
    2. Deleted all config files in config dir of SD card - still NOT working
    3. Removed recent game using WBSF manager - NOT working

I believe my Wii version is 4.2u and cIOS56-64-v5146-rev14.wad, IOS38, IOS50, IOS53, IOS55, IOS60. Not sure what they all mean.

    Any suggestions/helps are greatly appreciated.

You can check the wii's version my going to the menu in the bottom left and then system settings, system menu is in the top right corner. Has the wii been updated? Has Usb loader gx been updated?

I checked and my Wii version is 4.2u. I haven't done any updates to Wii or USB loader GX. I was able to play normally until recently. The only thing I did was add new game into my HDD but I already removed it already as some have suggested.

This is my only drive that I have. Do you mean the HDD drive or my SD card? How do I verify if my HDD drive is bad? I can load from WBSF manager and copy back and forth normally.

If it was done a while ago you probably have an old version of GX. There have been some issues with the older revs, update it to 2.1. You will need to get rid of all of the old gx files and install new ones. The older files have conflicts with the new rev of GX. Trying a different loader to rule out the hdd is also a good idea.

    Exception DSI Occurs WII 4.3E

    To all,
I'm a newbie to all this and had a problem with my softmodded 4.3e WII showing exception DSI whilst trying to load GX USB LOADER.

I managed to cure the problem by re-softmodding the WII.

    It now works fine.(So far).

    Hope this helps.
    Chrismc321.
