After Extraction on Savegame Manager GX

I have searched and found many threads on Savegame Manager GX but can't seem to find the answer to my question. I am trying to copy a save of my Animal Crossing City Folk game onto my SD Card. From what I understand I need to extract the saved game. SaveGame Manager GX's interface looks very simple.

I load it in HB, then chose the save in the "wii" side, clicked "extract" and saw it in a folder on the "SD" side in a folder called "gamesaves" but when I put the SD card back in my computer, I don't even see the gamesaves folder on the sd card. Am I supposed to do something after the extraction, maybe to the file on the SD Card while it's still in the wii?

I have system menu 4.3u, modded it with the "mod any wii" tutorial and have not done anything else at this point.

If i understand this correct..... you back them up to the SD and then you want to put them on a new wii ??? or just have a backup!!!

The computer will not be able to tread these files... so just backup the folder to the computer and if you ever need to restore put back on the SD and then launch the manager again and instead on extract you would pick install!!!

Although I will keep a backup, I want the save on the SD so I can use the AC Toolkit and make a couple of hacks to it on my computer. But I can't seem to get the save onto the card. Like I said, I extracted it, and see it, when in SGManager, on the SD side in a folder that I don't see when the card is in my computer.

you have to find out the file path of where it saves it to on the SD... maybe check their FAQ or email their support!!!!

Easiest to do.. is to load up SaveGame Manager GX again.. choose Animal Crossing from the Wii.. choose to extract.. and choose "Save to Default". That way you know it's going to the proper place. Exit SaveGame Manager GX using the Home button (don't just pull out the card) .. then power off and load your SD Card into your card reader. See how that goes.
