Issues with Priiloader

Hi, sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section, or if there is already an answer here somewhere!! but.. I'm having a lot of trouble installing priiloader and hope you can help.

My wii was recently softmodded - originally it was 4.3e, but using a tutorial I found on youtube (named 'softmod any wii 4.3 bat haxx') I downgraded to 4.1 as advised. Tried to install priiloader and had the system crash picture as expected, but i found that the computer wouldnt restart and so I think my friend may have had to restart it by disconnecting the mains :-/ .

Anyway, I've looked for some kind of indication that Priiloader is installed and I'm still not certain. I thought that maybe the version of Priiloader I was using was incompatible with the system menu and so I've downgraded back to 4.1e.

I'm entirely confused as to why Priiloader won't work and am unsure how to uninstall it and if it is even installed in the first place!
(if that is at all possible..?.)

Somehow, eearlier today priiloader did work for a short while but with no effect (eg. the menu would load up when I pressed power & reset - but I'd save skip health screen or cancel system updates and still have those appear.) but now the menu doesnt even load up.

Now if anybody could give me any advice on how to start this process all over again I would really appreciate it.. I don't mind doing the whole softmod again through a different tutorial, (although it would have to be using bat haxx) and so if a factory reset is necessary then that is fine :) (again, if this is even possible???)

I've tried and tried to install newer versions but I think I must be getting something wrong somewhere. I also have problems with the Homebrew browser - I'm not sure if these could be linked somehow??

I think you win the award for the most messed up system check i have ever seen.
You need to follow the softmod any wii guide located on this site. You will be good to go after that.

kinda looks like a darkcorp? all those ios at 65535 and trucha bugged. BTW stay away from failtube follow the guide on this site or one in my signature.

I've tried to follow the guide on here and have ran into yet another problem :'(
I tried to install hackmii installer again and it read the following message:

"HackMii Installer v0.5

This installer can NOT continue!
There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this wii.
Please note that we will not use a fakesigned IOS due to security reasons.
Look for an updated version at BootMii.org
If this is already the latest version.. well, Suck it."

And so.. I went to the Bootmii website and downloaded version 0.8 instead. Although when I've attached that to my SD and inserted it into my PC it doesnt show up.. have I got the wrong files in the root of the card or something?? and when I try just going through homebrew to install it I get a black screen, my wii flashes blue and my controller disconnects!

Sorry to be such a pain - what a noob eh?!

What guide are you following? One in the archives? Use Mauifrog's softmod any Wii but I don't think you can just overwrite a DarkCorped Wii's IOS. I'm pretty sure you have to uninstall DarkCrap first but I could be wrong because I've personally never touched DarkCrap.

If you have Homebrew installed you just start the guide from homebrew already installed!
(That's the softmod any wii guide,click "Useful Links" spoiler in my sig)
You dont need to run the Hackmii installer again!

Appparently (my friend done the best part of the softmod) I have a NAND backup but its on the wii somewhere? I'm not sure how or why..

I'd like a copy that I can keep to myself on a seperate computer just so I know it is actually there (you know - just incase the worst ever did happen.) Just before I start the process again..

Now because bootmii doesnt load up properly that way wont work, and I tried the wadmanager way and it says that the 1 wad won't install! lol

I knew I should've softmodded it myself...

Is there a way I can set it back to factory settings and start the whole process again?? it seems like this way would be the best, then atleast that way I can follow a guide from this website rather than something from youtube thats well and truly messed up my system (oops...)

Also, a fewe people mentioning darkcorp here - any idea how I uninstall it??

Just follow the guide in my signature. "softmod any wii" by mauifrog

It will overwrite anything already on there.

on your removing darkcorps guide it says to not start it without adequate brick protection.. yet thats what my problem is :'(

also, is bootmii properly installed properly for me? every time I use HBC to load it up it just stays on a black screen and my disc drive flashes blue :-/

That means you don't have the BootMii folder and files on your SD card. Either put them on there when you try to run it or it you deleted them run the HackMii installer and create them again.
