    Question Small usb loader problem

I used mauifrog's "Softmod ANY wii" guide and hacked my 3.3u system successfully.
Then I used Gen3SF's "Loading and Playing Wii Backup Games from USB HDD (softmod only)" guide to format my Western Digital WD16000BEVT 2.5" hard drive. I got a big WFBS partition and a smaller FAT32 partition for my emulator games. I use WFBS Manager 3.0 to copy my wii backups to the hdd.

    THE PROBLEM:
After I lunch a usb loader it freezes on the start up screen.
The only way I can avoid this is by disconnecting the hdd from the wii and only connecting it after the usb loader lunched and says that no usb device was found.

Any idea to why this is happening? This happens with both my usb loaders the cfg loader and the gx loader.

Sounds like a compatibility issue. I recommend u use fat32 for the whole drive though

Fat32 can be used for everything, ntfs cannot be used for homebrew stuff

with a big WFBS partition and a smaller FAT32 partition, the backup/ISOs be "WFBS Manager 3.0" into the "primary" wbfs partition. and the "primary" FAT partition is for usbloader, for lconfig and for cover images.
with GX wont lunch the game (after clicking on the spinning disk it runs back to the menu), appears the path was not right. u may like to edit the config file (read the GX Guide for more).

I still don't understand why the usb loader doesn't lunch when I got a hdd drive plugged in. In order for it to work I got to unplug the hdd, lunch the usb loader, wait for it to give me a message saying that the usb device is missing and only then I can plug in my hdd.
