    hi im having problems playing epic mickey from hdd this is my system check

    Your syscheck looks like you followed Mauifrog's guide...No problems. Have you tried switching which cIOS you are using to launch the game with yet?

    yes ive tried every single one i have aswell as forcing to region if i use 249 it tells me cios249 ,cios222v4, cios223v4, cios224v5 or higher required for staring games from FAT partition upgrade ios249 i have looked in mauifrogs guide as to how to update but when i go to hbc and load bootmi2 it just says bootmi loading and never does sorry if i sound dumb i have been looking for a few days as how to update properly and theres a couple of ways so its confused me (easily done) thanks

    Updating 249 probably won't help but you can try if you like. It might be a bad rip of the game. Have you tried re-ripping your disc yet?

    I have the same cIOS' and epic mickey works fine from wiiflow 222

    Hey Wardenbh, Are you using CFG LOADER, If so you can choose IOS to load, I see you have tried them all in settings. It maybe that you need a higher rev than 17 for epic mickey, I am running on rev19 249 using cfg 65 249 (frag) my Epic Mickey plays OK.

    yes 3 times to no joy do i need to use wad manager for mauifrogs cios pack zip he just states to install the 3 wads to update so im presuming i need to put wad manager on my hdd and extract the zip to my sd card and do it like that but im not 100% sure this is correct thanks for your help so far

    forgive me if i sound dumb but how do i get from rev 17 to a higher rev thanks ?

    Have a look at this READ it over a few times. You must learn to understand what & why you do things to your wii, Most tutorials on Wii hack are a complete set up. It is usually all you need. However if you want to upgrade your cios rev. Look and read, You will noy get spoon fed by anyone. Learning is the challenge, The guys that find all the exploits, mods, hacks, Are puzzle masters, You can find help if you are prepared to read and learn.
    Come back again once you've read the Tut. learn about which games need what, Never Uninstall IOS below 200...
