The game disc could not be read error. <-- Occurs for all games. Help!

There's another thread on the forum about this, but he's running on 4.3u, so I wouldn't know.

    The Problem:
Super Mario Galaxy 2 wouldn't work on my Wii, so Googled and tried a whole bunch of stuff. I must've done something wrong, because afterwards, every single game I try loading gives me the same error. The dreaded "The game disc could not be read. Please refer to the Wii Operations Manual" error.

    Wii Information:
    Region: NTSC-U
    System Menu 4.2U (v481)
Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 running on IOS34
    Hollywood v0x11
    Console ID: 75842959
    Boot2 v3
    Found 98 titles.
Found 37 IOS on this console. 0 of them are stub.

Ios 40 to 52 are maxed out and trucha signed and shouldn't be. Have u ever used darkcorp? Use dopmii or mmm manager to see what should be installed.

Sorry to sound nooby, but are there any guides on the forum for those programs? I honestly have no idea what you're talking about.

Also, what do you mean by "Ios 40 to 52 are maxed out and trucha signed and shouldn't be"? And how will I use mmm to see what should be installed?

Well, they don't have labels on them. Unbranded, I guess. Like, really cheap too. Does dvd quality matter?

use can use a guide in my signature there is one there for every one or Pob3008 has some guides in his signature. Easy way is take an hour at most and re-softmod. i can usually do a 4.3 in 45 minutes. for you should take less cause part of the job has been done.

Darkcorp aka Cioscorp is not looked upon favorably on this site. it is much riskier and can brick you easier. as for the guides on here most of the new ones deal with MMM manager or dopmii.

Quality does matter when it come to the Wii or 360 for that matter. Using cheap media i have made a ton of coasters and refused to buy anything less than verbatims pricey but work everytime.
