    (38) means that you have a cios most probably 17 with the base ios of 38.

    Loading with fat32 needs a cios at 249 to be higher ie 19 or 20

    Can you post the syscheck here?

    The number in the brackets is the bas ios used to create the cios. That one you have is most likely rev17 which does not support fat loading. You will need to change the cios the loader uses or update 249 to rev 19 or higher. Try 222....you set that in the global options on cfg.
