Sound like you may have a corrupt cios? Did you use dopmii to syscheck or syscheck?

Is your usb device/hdd on the compatability list?

One is an Imation 8GB flash drive, the other a 320GB Seagate Free Agent Go, both of which appear to be on the compatability list. The 320 GB was the one that was working fine up until recently.

I downloaded the syscheck app and ran it in the same way that I ran the syscheck that I posted earlier on this thread.

These are the new results of my syscheck after following the guide, step by step.

I'm on the verge of giving up and just playing the games off the discs. Everything seems to be in place but the Wii will just not read the HDD. I thought it might be the USB port itself but that works when I play media files through a differnet app. The only succes I had was that, somehow, I was able to play a game from the SD card, completely by accident. Maybe I'll just buy a 32GB SD card and load a few games onto it that way.

    Spoiler
