External hard drive to external hard drive

I have heard this is possible but I can not figure our how to do this. When I connect them to my computer it says I have to format them. I know this will wipe them out. What can I do?

I have to give my brother hard drive back to him so i went and bought my own. I would like to keep my games.

I bought a Wii a month ago. I softmodded it and it worked great until last week. I tried to play it and it would not read my disk. The disk was an origanal. The picture did not even come up. I have heard it was a lazer problem or maybe the hard drive. Can anyone help??

your drive must be in WBFS, get a game manager and copy the games to the computer, or just format it and reinstall your games thru the Wii with the game discs onto your new drive...

never format the source hdd, or u wipe out every file
