The thing is actually, It's a problem with the disc drive so they wouldn't neccesarily have to access the settings and code for the Wii. The oly thing they'll do is test the game to see if the disc cannto be read error stops. Anyway I'll reply back saying what happens it should come in about 1 - 2 weeks.

means they detected your mod and charged you accordingly. You could send it back to them refuse to pay and tell them to keep it and buy another.

You could say that but most companies wont take ignorance as an excuse.

they fined you!? Seriously? Would you mind posting a screen shot of the notice? I would try and say whatever I could to get out of that. There is no way really they can say YOU did it....can they? That sucks though man. Sorry to hear that! Find out more info and keep us posted. I'm curious to what happens.

I'm going to call them up and say I don't know what they're talking about and then say I bought it from a car bot sale. That way, I don't have to show any proof of purchase and It wasn't me.

It's okay, they currently have my Wii and I was just on the phone with them and said I bought it second handed. They said that It's okay then that the software was tampored before I got it so the guy said he'll send it back. I dunno if the disc drive will be fixed or the hacks will be removed but at least I don't have to pay that money anymore! As soon as I got off the phone I refreshed the repair log page and it asid 'Not Willing to Pay'. I'll get back to you to see if they fixed the disc drive or removed the hacks.
