    Another unmodding thread. Please help.

I have read a bunch of threads here and elsewhere on how to unmod the wii. None of them really helped. Basically I just want the default wii, as I honestly never use any mod features. I just got a new 3DS and I want to be able to use my wii with it and I need certain channels I can no longer use. Can someone please help? SysCheck in a few minutes.

The one where you can download peoples mii's is really the only one at the moment, but I think there are a few others as well. And I would like to be able to go on the wii shop channel and get some of the stuff that I have bought that I can't find elsewhere.

I am pretty sure you can use both of those channels. I know there are guides on here for what you are wanting.

I'd rather just unmod my wii if possible.

then search on the forum for the thread that tells you how to update the shop channel. You should NEVER need to "unmod" a wii (and its dangerous anyway!)

I don't need to, but I would like to. Why are people so against the unmodding of a wii, aside from the 'danger'? Every thread like this just suggests ways to get around said problem, instead of ways to unmod. I guess I will try to find said guide for this, but I would rather just be able to turn my wii on and use its features instead of reading guides every time I want to use something else.
There has to be a safe guide out there to unmod a wii.

there is no 'safe' guide, as there is no 100% 'safe' way to unmod.

YOU chose to mod your wii, YOU should have understood the consequences BEFORE you did that.

All you need to do is update your shop channel, its not hard!

I appreciate you trying to help, but I do not appreciate the scolding. I did and still do understand the consequences, I simply wanted to see if anyone would actually tell me how to unmod instead of ways to get around. I will just have to deal with it. Can you point me in the direction of said guide?
I'm just going to buy another wii for regular use, and keep this one softmodded.
